Work Release

Most of the people faced with a standard first time Ventura County DUI choose the five days of Work Release option. In a Ventura County DUI, the work release is usually performed at the Ventura County Government Center, although you actually report to the program near the Camarillo Airport. You do not have to do the five days of work release on consecutive days. Typically, if faced with a five day work release sentence, you have to do one day during the week, and then can do the rest of the days on the weekends. Generally speaking, the judges in a Ventura County DUI case will allow you to get the work release done within a couple of months of the conclusion of your case. There is no option to do Work Release at night, as the schedule is generally from about 8-5, with a lunch break.
