Were You Unlawfully Arrested?

• Most people arrested for a DUI in Ventura are stopped by the police for some sort of traffic violation. However, the circumstances that led to the traffic stop do not necessarily give the police what is called “reasonable suspicion” to pull you over.
• Even after a valid traffic stop, officers are only permitted to detain you for a short period, and still must have probable cause to arrest,
• If you were pulled over without reasonable suspicion and/or arrested without probable cause, your Ventura County DUI can be successfully fought.
